This bank couldn’t help us to open a company account because the location is physically too far from our office, however the staff was very patient and kind. They gave us valuable information and helped to direct us to the correct branch.
The bank staff was very friendly and assisted me with the necessary business. I didn't have to wait too long and the sofa was quite comfortable.
I went to the Cathay United Bank Xitun branch to handle credit card matters.
For someone like me who knows nothing about banking,
going to the bank is a real headache!
Luckily, I was incredibly fortunate to encounter the very friendly staff at the Xitun branch.
I especially want to mention Ms. Wei, the specialist at counter number 7.
With her sweet smile and kind tone, she was professional yet gentle and considerate, handling everything for me quickly and efficiently, resolving all my issues! Ms. Wei is like an angel; I'm truly grateful to her!
This time, the service I received at the bank was both friendly and professional. After everything was settled, I'm leaving this review in a very pleasant mood!
I hope the company will give more praise to the hardworking staff at the Xitun branch~ You guys are amazing!
The bank's staff provides excellent greetings and is consistently approachable and helpful to clients. A welcoming atmosphere is evident, as all employees smile upon entry. I opened an account, and the document processing was completed in just 14 minutes.
Regarding English communication, they utilize a translator apps to facilitate clear conversations.
A bit of long wait but supervisor did all in her power to help and do what's right.
This bank was SO RUDE. I don't have an ARC but I have a UID, which is enough to open an account, but the teller made a face and told me that that's weird, and asked why I would want an account. I told her it's because I'm only here for 6 months to study Chinese so I don't need an ARC, but I need an account to pay for my rent, use Line Pay, buy things from Momo, and it's just overall more convenient. After explaining, she made another face and said that it's weird, and that I should just pay in cash. I was surprised and said, even my rent? And she said yes.
Just go to Hua Nan Bank instead. They were so nice and sweet! And they don't need an ARC to open an account. Remember to bring your Social Security ID though if you're from the US!
This passbook is terrible. Every time I need to replace it, the machine can't, and I have to take a number.
Today it was even worse; it completely condensed my entire account. The bank teller told me to come back and refresh my passbook more often so this wouldn't happen.
Now they even need the person in charge to come to the bank to sign! 🙄
Very slow (50 minutes to change my address), the bank has many outages and deposited money is not accessible, they seem confused by simple questions (like trying to deposit coins when their machine is broken, they don’t know how to do it).
Slow and lousy service, basically one person in line translates to 15 minutes wait, if there’s 10 people in line, prepare a short novel cause you’ll finish it!
