There are lot of unnecessary things which create problem for costumers , secondly they are more interested in their own benefit than costumers, i went there to open pak rupees and dollar account but the officer almost pushed me to deposit more rupees than dollars. For simple account opening they let me sit there for almost a hours and once i came back, officer called me and said u signed on the papers with blue pen which is not acceptable so he said he want signature again ,next day i went there signed all the papers,after few hours that guy again called me and said he need signature on few more papers ,after hearing this i finally refused to open account there. This was not the only reason,their manager was quite rude,though i was putting handsome amount in their bank so i thought when they are dealing me like this now,how would they deal my wife in my absence when i will not be in pakistan. I went to bank al habib where i hardly spent 10 min and my account got opened,i am still their costumer and very happy till now

I have accounts in three different banks but have found Standard Chartered the most efficient. They have virtually all banking services. I specially love their online / internet banking services. You can walk into any branch and avail services like its your own branch. You will hardly have to wait for your turn. Take your debit along when you visit as you will have further prioritized service.

Pathetic experience. Went there to open an account and there was a lady sitting besides the entrance. I asked her for the account opening desk and she, in turn, asked me for my profession. I said, I am a freelance programmer. And just like that, she said WE DON'T TAKE FREELANCERS ON BOARD. Exceptionally rude, she summarily rejected me and didn't even ask me to have a seat. As a taxpaying citizen of this country, I felt slapped. It's not like I was asking for credit, I waz depositing money with them! SBP and Banking Mohtasib should seriously look into SCB's standard operating procedures. This is the first bank that rejected me like that on the basis of my career. Meezan and HBL had no such problems.

Worst experience. Pathetic bank. Misguiding staff. Arrogant receptionists. Alit of rush and out if 9 only 2 counters were working. Never ever open account in any branch of this bank.
