Meezan Bank Ltd.

Very incompetent unexpected service. I wanted to open an urgent International account since my flight was within 3 days. I went to the main Meezan Branch at Gulberg Lahore. There I was attended by the customer service officer Mr.Umair, and I told him that I need to open an account urgently since I wanted to deposit a pay order and I will be flying out of pakistan ?? within 3 days. Umair began with the formalities and after taking my signatures he assured me its completed from myside and the account will be open within 2 days. After 2 hours I recieved a call from him saying that they need my thumb impression. I travelled 45×2 minutes to and from the bank just to do what he forgot to ask me earlier. Then again the next days he called me up asking to confirm the address. The 3rd day I visited the branch all the way from Bahria to Gulberg 45mints ×2 , and came to know that Umair was on Off. He handed over the matter to his collegue saying that he had to confirm the address. Surprising the account application slip pending came out of his collegues this ignited my impatientness. I asked to meet the Operations Manager- there I met Mr Chaudry with a long white beard, I thought he will be able to.provide some assistance, but shamelessly instead of understanding the seriousness of the complain and providing assistance, he started smiling saying that he cannot do anything- they were waiting to confirm the address. I told him why no one called me to confirm the address. Chaudry was still smiling and trying to cover his collegues mistake instead of accepting and learning. This was a test of my patience. I got signifacntly responsive to the awful ? non situational smile of Chaudry and left the place. - it seems Meezan Bank does not means business any more. And Definately Not a professional Customer Service. And definately Not adequate parking for customers.

The problem with this branch is its always in a rush mode. there is usually a long waiting period before you get your turn.They need to improve customer service

Always foud a helpful staff. A bit wait but as a good parking is available so u can wait without tension.

Very Slow and poor Service. They should increase counters if they have work load. Waiting from more than a hour
