I still remember its my first bank, how I opened account there in 2003, when my Salary was just 3,000. Since than I am using the services of MCB when it was actually Muslim Commercial Bank. Very good bank and old is gold purely fit this. I had account in this bank for more than 15 years and never have any major issues, banks services are awesome plus the online and ATM services never gave me setbacks. Strongly recommended for the each category of citizens whether businessman, personal banking or joint accounting.
According to wikipedia, MCB Bank Limited (formerly Muslim Commercial Bank) previously named as a (Manjoo Co-operative Bank) was incorporated by the Adamjee Group on July 9, 1947, under the Indian Companies Act, VII of 1913 as a limited company. The bank was established to provide banking facilities to the business community of South Asia. The bank was nationalized in 1974 during the government of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. This was the first bank to be privatized in 1991 and the bank was purchased by a consortium of Pakistani corporate groups led by Nishat Group. As of June 2008, the Nishat Group owns a majority stake in the bank. The president of the bank is Imran Maqbool. My experience with the bank specially with the same branch is a decade old :), and i never had problems with the bank or the staff, the staff is always supportive and helpfull, service is good, the information desk provides good information.
