BMO Bank of Montreal 3003 137 Avenue NorthWest Belmont

Went to open a small business account with 0 fee, but the representative opened one with a huge $120 monthly fee. I specifically mentioned I have a small business, but it felt like misdirection. Charger me $460 with zero transactions on my account I didn't even activate the card yet. Good thing I went to a different branch set me straight and explained well. Super disappointing experience. Definitely closing my account.

Strangely I did leave a review and for some reason it's no longer being visible and has been removed. Is it because I was frustrated for cashing a check and being treated like a thief where you had to prove your innocence? Is this the world that we live in now? I know other bmo's I went to and cashed the bonus check had no problem but this lady decided how can you know how can you know you're not a thief how can you know how can you know you're not a nice person too? I've gone to other bemos without question the cashed my check with no problem but for some reason this lady on multiple occasions has harass me severely on it and then made me feel like she did me a favor for doing what everybody else did without question. I will not go back to here again I will avoid this place like the plague...... And if this one comment strangely disappears, I will put another and then another of my displeasure.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Asisrup Chowdhary at Belmont Town Center Branch in Edmonton. He was amazing, guiding me through different investments and finding what would work for me the best. Now I can see that his guidance was correct and he did everything without any kind of pressure. Love to work with him.

Absolutely useless. Don’t bother wasting your time if you’re at this bank after 6:30 pm. Online and on their door it says Ty “Open til 7 PM”, but that’s a blatant lie. The staff are too lazy to bother staying open. I arrived at 6:40 PM on a FRIIDAY, just to be met with locked doors and a terribly rude and unprofessional staff that couldn’t be bothered to even glance my way yet a lone open the door to explain WHY they’re not open until the time they’re supposed to be. Absolutely ridiculous.

Terrible service. They just had 10k walk out the door because of staff being "too busy " to serve someone like me. I was going to open a GIC and TFSA and possibly switch over my other plans but nope they will get 0. At least this branch.
