I live in England. I went to open my account in HBL Z block DHA, the lady, Ms. Sonia, took one hour in processing my application because she was not only dealing with other people, attending her private phone calls , attending her typical style Pakistani Manager who had no idea of the importance of customers, told me to go home and wait for her phone call I took a bag full of documents because I knew they can ask for any unwanted document. Ms Sonia was asking for a Tin number which never exists in England. Instead I told her that there is system of National Insurance Number and I gave her the card but she thought I am lying. I didn't get any call from her yesterday as expected, I went to her again today and to my surprise the bank came back asking for the same NI number which I showed her yesterday. Upon asking , she said I didn't input my NI number because she thought its not correct. I was appalled by the level of knowledge and education that how she is managing to work the the bank without sufficient education, knowledge and common sense.
This branch is always crowded. Still, no issues regarding the staff and their services. They are very courteous and helpful.
One cashier counter for the entire branch, you don’t see two counters working at same time and you always have to wait a hour or two for every business you have with them
Worst customer service of all the banks I have ever been to. No line management. Absolute chaos.
Poor management and understaffed. Long waiting time for simple requests.
