As an international student, I opened my bank account at this branch. I’d like to thank the two kind ladies who helped me, they were very friendly and assisted me in English since I don’t speak German. They guided me through the whole process patiently and made everything easy. Before coming here, I visited another bank (the one starting with “S” :))), but the staff there were not very polite and just told me to “collect these documents and find someone who speaks German to open an account.” That’s when I decided to come to Commerzbank and I’m so glad I did! Many thanks again to the staff. Definitely recommended! 🙏

In January 2026, I visited the Commerzbank branch in Jena for investment advice. Mr. Eckhold provided me with competent and friendly guidance. I would particularly like to emphasize the customer advisor's excellent availability. The online banking platform is also very user-friendly.

It's awful. I've been trying to talk to a person for two hours now, it's impossible. It's always just an AI that can't do anything except say yes or no. I only had a question about my PIN because I forgot my old one, and now I need a new one. It can't be that difficult to send me a new one. I've been in a nursing home for six months.
