My experience with CIC was far from acceptable. My debit card didn't work; I had to wait a month for it to arrive. They charge outrageous intervention fees. The advisor calls you 48 hours after you contact them. She calls and offers no solution. Why aren't the Paris and Lyon branches connected? If I have a problem in Paris, I go to a Paris branch, and they tell me they can't do anything; only the Lyon branch can process my request. Poor connectivity, a terrible customer interface. Honestly, you're better off using online banks like Revolut or something else. It took me two months to close my CIC account. I absolutely do not recommend them. I've been trying to contact my advisor, and she's not responding. Please tell Fabienne Chetail that I want to close my account. I've been trying to close my account for several months, and she's stopped replying to my messages.

As I often say: if you don't need anything, call CIC! Over a month ago, I made a withdrawal from my life insurance policy with CIC and an independent company. With the independent company, my money arrived five days after I signed the withdrawal agreement. But with CIC, still nothing, except being passed from one advisor to another. Banks have become a real disaster! Very disappointed with CIC.
