Getting an appointment at the Charleroi branch is a nightmare... You can't even go there in person without one. The woman I spoke to on the phone didn't even take the request seriously. It seemed like she was bored. They're already not very available, but if it's just to have a phone conversation with a robot, make a greeting message for customers stating that you have other things to do... we'd understand...

Avoid Fortis at all costs – an outrageous customer experience. My account has been blocked for over 10 days without any explanation. It's impossible to know why: I'm simply told to wait for a letter that has never arrived. Meanwhile, my money is frozen and I can't access my own funds. I also contacted Fortis by email: the only response I received was to… call. On the phone, it's always the same thing: long waits, and when someone finally answers, it's just a few seconds of being told again that they can't say anything and that I have to wait for the letter. No follow-up, no solution, no information. I even filed a complaint online, which has gone completely unanswered. No communication, no transparency, no respect for the customer. Blocking an account without explanation or assistance is unacceptable. This bank should be avoided at all costs if you want even a modicum of professionalism and consideration.
