Recently subscribed to a world elite card , I noticed the welcome offer of 10 % offered by BMO on their website did not apply . I took an appointment at this branch to understand why the information was so misleading. Took an appointment online , then someone calls me this morning to cancel the appointment. Best way to get rid of a new clients , I will probably address it to ACFC because the information provided 10% welcome offer and 5% on groceries is not applied correctly. And it seems I cannot talk to a person at BMO about it …

We recently opened a newcomer account at BMO-Canada Saint Catherine St. Branch and had an excellent experience thanks to Shayne Kanel. Always a pleasant and efficient visit. You can see that everyone works effectively together to get through the queues of customers. Despite working and living closer to other BMOs I choose to come here because it is always a good experience.

The level of incompetence at this branch is unlike anything I’ve experienced before. We personally handed a mortgage payment cheque to the branch director, yet it took them an entire month to deposit it. During that time, they charged us interest—even though they were already in possession of the cheque. To make matters worse, they continued withdrawing funds from our account despite the mortgage having been reimbursed. Attempts to resolve the issue by phone were futile. They repeatedly promised to look into it and call back, but no one ever followed up. Two months later, we’re still fighting to get this resolved. Save your time and money and AVOID at all cost!

I had a very disappointing experience at this branch today. I had to wait for almost half an hour with only two agents available, and the line was moving extremely slowly. In the end, I left without being helped because it felt like I could be waiting for an hour or more. The whole process was frustrating and felt like a waste of time.☹️👎
