This ASKARI BANK is not meant for "International banking", offers no easy ways/convenience for international bank customers or potential customers who reside overseas. This is owned by Fauji Foundation which is subsidiary of Pakistan Army or Federal Government, so it is publicly owned and not privately owned. On the other hand this bank creates more hurdles, obstacles, red-tape not to help the customer which drives the customers over to other private banks of international repute like Standard Charter Bank, Chase Bank, Deutche Bank AG, etc. I would stay away from Askari Bank if you live overseas and want to operate accounts from overseas. They offer no assistance, do not answer their phones, or do not bother to reply to email messages. In other words they do not need foreign remittances or money to come into their coffers. Askari Bank is more suited for the corrupt class people living inside Pakistan who are constantly into corrupt practices, and can easy access the staff for shady deals.
