Absolutely the worst bank. A protected account (P-Konto) that has existed since February with regular deposits was closed without reason. When I inquired, they simply referred to section 19 of the terms and conditions. The fees are extremely high, and the staff is very unfriendly. This will definitely be reported to BaFin (the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority) and the consumer protection agency. Fees of €30-€50 were sometimes debited. I definitely advise against using this bank.

This is absolutely outrageous and completely incomprehensible! Why can't you withdraw money, make transfers, or get bank statements between midnight and 5:00 AM? Why? Because even the self-service area is closed between midnight and 5:00 AM! This is absolutely ridiculous and by far the most pointless action this bank has ever taken! Shame on you... This just adds insult to injury and further damages your already terrible reputation. Congratulations on the worst customer service ever!

The staff are arrogant. Helpful? *cough*, but not really. Bureaucrats galore. There are no solutions, everything takes far too long. I'm glad I'm not a customer and hope that after these unrelated issues are resolved and finally settled, I'll never hear from this bank again.

The bank's design is good, unfortunately the staff are not available every day, and the other branch at Wendewehr is difficult to reach for some customers.

Very disappointing experience. I opened an account specifically for international remittances, but my first incoming payment was blocked without any prior notice. The branch service was extremely slow and unhelpful. I had to wait a long time just to speak to someone, and even then, I received unclear and conflicting information. Requirements were introduced that were never mentioned at account opening. On top of this, I was charged for a debit card that was never delivered. I later received a message saying the card was “returned to branch,” yet I was informed that the debit card fee would not be refunded. Despite calls, emails, and a branch visit, no clear solution or timeline was provided. For freelancers relying on international payments, this process is stressful and unprofessional. I expected much better from a bank of this scale.
