I visited this Branch, I had a discriminatory interaction. I was judged based on my skin color right away by the Manager of the Branch located on 180 Madison Avenue without proper reason given. I saw the way they treated the Black person on the line before compared to the way they treated the other customers. I observed differential treatment of Black customers, including stricter ID requirements for similar transactions of less than $500 withdrawals while he used his debit card. Immediate denial of my transaction without apparent checks .I was asked for my ID for making usual transactions and the Manager declined my transaction from the start without using any resources. When I pushed back on the denial he then made a call and approved it after asking me to use the ATM instead. This not my first time seeing the Manager escalate situation with Black customers in particular as opposed help them with their needs. I wonder how the other low reviews. I had an appointment booked at 1pm but showed up at 12 as my other errand was quick. I was helped by Stephanie Clarke on my checking account to add my spouse as another owner and Stephanie was amazing. Always smiling, respectful, and got the job done timely. I liked her service. I hope she reads this or at least her manager.

It's one of the worst banks out there. If they don't reinvent the company this BS should go to 0. I got much better treatment, and less moments of stupid guys wasting my time, with other competitors. Do me a favor, and kill this company. Don't use it. There so many out there that do the exact same for cheaper, and with less time wasted.

OK, guys: these people are ace. 10 other banks were incapable of doing a transaction I needed done before I fly back to Europe. But Jatia and her colleagues did a stellar job, with smiles and a patience that is getting rare these days. Then Avril clinched the deal by getting my card expressed to Europe. Now THAT'S service! Thank you all! New York, and you guys rock!!

I wish I could give them a zero star. Just utterly unprofessional, disrespectful and straight up lying to our face. We were asking them to re-issue us a new check because of a mistake with the payer’s name, but they wouldn’t do it and says it’s “company policy”. They also said it would be the same for every branch which isn’t true because another Wells Fargo didn’t give ANY trouble. Jordy and his coworkers are very impatient with us and keep asking us to step aside to accommodate other costumers even though our issues had not been resolved.
