Have not had 1 good experience at this bank. Started off by applying for a credit card and my student loan, Patrick disappeared completed none of the relevant paperwork for either and my student loan funding was late. Began charging me for my debit account with absolutely no information indicating this would happen. Absolutely atrocious customer service, when I went there to talk to them about they told me it was my fault and they would not reimburse me the money they took. Go anywhere else
Hello.. I have been with TD bank for most of my life..Okanagan is a teller at this bank.. she is sooooo amazing and very helpful.. she speaks English perfect , and I can understand her 100 %.. she is a rock
They won't give us change. We pay them several thousand dollars a month in credit card fees but apparently we're "not a customer". Moneris has been bugging me to switch our credit card machines from TD to them for years, so now I finally have a reason to.
I’m not usually someone who writes negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience at this TD branch, as it left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. When I arrived, the teller I dealt with (a blonde woman with a European-sounding accent—potentially slavic, I didn’t catch her name) was polite at first, but her demeanour shifted very quickly. The only reason I am giving this description is in hopes that she may be identified and pulled aside to address the way she speaks with clients, as well as the tone used. I came in to deposit a mix of bills and rolled coins — some of the coin rolls were not completely full, but I was under the impression that all coins are counted and verified regardless (This has always been my experience at other banks). She quickly became dismissive and impatient. When she noticed some rolls weren’t full, she made a pointed comment along the lines of, “You know you can’t roll change that isn’t full? You’ll have to open these.” I explained that
Rachelle was extremely helpful, and I had no issues with her at all. My concern is more with TD’s overall pricing and fees. I’ve been a customer for over 10 years, and being offered 12% below spot for TD-branded silver I purchased from them just three years ago feels very discouraging, especially given the premiums charged when first buying silver from TD. Additionally, the $9.99 commission on buy/sell trades in TFSA and RSP accounts seems quite high, especially since these transactions are done electronically and no longer require teller assistance. The quarterly maintenance fees in RSP accounts also raise questions—what services are being provided that justify $100 per year for accounts under $15,000? I recently transferred my RSP out, which cost $150, another fee that feels excessive. Given these costs, I no longer do any investing with TD. With fees and commissions at this level, it becomes challenging to build long-term wealth efficiently. I hope TD can consider ways to make inv
