recently visited your branch to deposit a check and when I asked your staff to guide me. They rudely give me a form and say to stay aside. Not only me, many other people are also unsatisfied due to their misbehavior. Your staff are always busy in their personal gossips. They speak very harshly whenever we ask them to guide us. They do not provide us right guidance whenever we need it from their end.
The Branch Manager decides the energy and quality of service of a branch. This used to have a great tean. The present manage and 1-2 staff are good. There are a lot of very lazy Sankari type staff, including a very lazy tamilian lady who does everything to avoid doing work. The branch has a lazy energy about it. That needs to go. Also, SBI in general, needs to be prepared for online transactions. Thanks to it's former chairman Arundhati Bhattacharya, SBI was very slow to adapt to newer banking including online banking. Also, their processes and procedures haven't improved in decades.
Do yourself favor and never open an account in SBI . Staffs doesn't even bother to solve the issue. Always look irritated. Its been more than 3 months and even a simple task such as address change is not done. Had complaint several times even to higher officials but they don't care about solving or at least assuring customer. This is the reason why private banks are winners as the employee salary is based on the work done whereas government employee knows that they will get salary plus incentive and pension no matter how worst is they do the job. The staff specially female staff sitting at the counter receiving 15H FORMS AND PPF KYC FORMS IS very careless and does not do her duty. in spite of submitting kYC from about a month back she did not do any thing and my sons PPF Ac being operated since 2008 stands blocked.He has to come all the way from Thane and this was his second trip . Reason .Forgot to submit. Now again he has submitted fresh KYC and again will have to come next week. Then the Govt. cries Banks are running in loss. People want to deposit money but this Is what is happening. Very sad .
Very sad to see that there is no one to pick a land line call in the S. B. I Four bungalows Ratan Nagar branch. There is no call centre for NRI service STATE BANK OF INDIA should have a NRI call centre without visiting the branch. Request kindly improve the services
