Waited for many days to go to an appointment to open a bank account at this bank, and their software didn't work at all, and they couldn't tell me how many days it was gonna take to fix it. I went the same day to Swedbank with just a walk in appointment and was able to open my account on the same day. However I have to mention that this bank Nordea atleast has a customer care that talks to you before you have the personal number, the other banks don't let you get to their customer care person at all. Very strange banking system overall, never saw anything like this anywhere else before. And I was trying to get a bank account to receive my salary and bring my savings in. I was earlier turned down by many banks like I was asking them for a favour or something, and one even didn't let me in through the door at all. Just bizarre.

Finished with work at 17.00. Started calling 17.15 and no one wanted to answer. By the way I am calling about the issue with my credit card. Unbelievable that you can’t get help with serious matter when you need it.

Arrogant and deeply unapologetic. They were unable to renew bankid. I talked to the support on advance, and was told that I have to show up in person since my passport is not Swedish. In the branch they refuse helping and claim that a Swedish passport is also needed in that situation. They are utterly unhelpful and not sorry about it.

Very helpful with renewing my BankID with almost no wait. I must say this was probably my first good experience in Nordea.

Waited 1 month for the appointment, customer service told me what I had to bring with me, i asked 5 times if that is all because im traveling from abroad and cant just teleport back if they need something else, they say you can send it via mail if we need something else. I book my flight and my train ride from Germany. Spend hunderds of euros on transport and accommodation just to open an account. I arrive at the branch today at 9:00. I pull out all my documents, they tell they need my work contract etc. translated into English (from German). Basically I got told to f off in a polite manner and to come back in 5 weeks with the translated documents. What a beautiful institution. I will definitely be coming again. Crazy
