Metrobank Paseo - Makati Ave. 8735 Makati Ave., cor 1226 Paseo de Roxas

I did an OTC withdrawal in Skyland Plaza branch, and I understand that Metrobank requires email approvals from your main branch if you are withdrawing large sums of money (in this case, my main branch is in Paseo). What I do NOT understand is - why is this mandated in Metrobank, given that BSP only requires these types of approvals for over 500k? What I withdrew over the counter is not even close to >=500k! I already told one of the tellers in CityPlaza to call the main branch already upon emailing as I have done this process a lot already and I usually wait up to 20mins. Long story short, apparently the teller didn’t follow my advice, he only called the Paseo branch 20mins after not getting any response from my email (upon my prodding). Then when he was already calling the branch, he still did not get any response as the line is always busy. After almost one hour of waiting, someone finally answered the phone from the Paseo Branch - their update is “kumakain si mam ish sa labas” not s

This branch worked diligently with another branch to process my request in a few days. They really went above and beyond and walked an extra mile. Kudos to Johnny. Thank you for all your patience.
