Excellent service and consultation advice I received . Inside the bank is very modern office design.
Literally every time I was there they didn’t help me. Open an account? No. Deposit cash? No. Their bank „doesn’t operate cash” (I thought that this is what banks usually do, but yeah…). The only positive thing is that the staff is polite when they refuse to provide a service for you. Don’t bother visiting, unless you want to know the exact reason why they cannot help you. And yes, ATM is often broken.
The most unprofessional and troublesome staff I’ve ever met in my whole life. I wanted to make rady operation and they didn’t manage to finalise it. Today was my third meeting in this place because of some “system disapproval” caused by nothing less than incompetent person whom took wrong documents without even checking it. Sic! Also if you’re not speaking Dutch you have to be prepared to be treated as total idiot and they will waste a lot of your time - personally I feel treated as someone of the inferior category - this is racism and in places like the bank it should not happen!
I expected the worst! Before getting my BSN that was conveniently close to the government offices of Tilburg and right in front of central station, I decided to open up an account immediately. Before though I was still pondering about Rabobank but found the cons outweighed the pros. I read reviews of this particular branch (ING) and it did say that there was poor service and slow to handle papers. I found that not to be the case with me. There was one costumer in front of me and after him i was tended to in a matter of minutes. Given that i did have all my propper documentation in hand and a letter of the government saying that i was officially registered in the city they opened an account for me in under thirty minutes, and mostly took that long anyways because the representative was so kind and making fun conversation. this branch is becoming worse and worse. i just asked for helping me to verify my identity on their app and they send me to 10km away.... they just want to be chill and stay on the desks, helping people really is not on their plans.
