I visited the HSBC branch at Dubai Festival City Mall today and had an outstanding experience thanks to Mr. Atef Elattar. He provided truly exceptional customer service from start to finish. Mr. Atef was highly professional, patient, and cooperative. He took the time to clearly explain everything in detail, answered all my questions thoroughly, and made the entire process very smooth. I went in to open an additional account for my wife, and he guided us through it efficiently, and the account was opened and activated on the spot . He also provided a clear, unbiased overview of the various credit card options available, highlighting the features that best suited my needs which made my decision to apply for an additional card very easy. It’s refreshing to encounter such dedicated and helpful staff in banking these days. Mr. Atef went above and beyond to ensure I left fully informed and satisfied. I have visited the DFC HSBC customer service centre (ticket AA16) on 18th Oct around 1pm to close my HSBC Advance account as I couldn't able to do it through HSBC app, but the lady at counter 3 informed me that I need to cancel my credit card first to close my HSBC account and asked me to call customer care to cancel credit card. So, immediately I called the customer care to cancel credit card, explained what I was told earlier at HSBC DFC centre. However to my surprise the customer care guy said I dont have to cancel my credit card to close the account (I am ok with it). After speaking with him for 20min and providing all the necessary details, he took the request to close the account. Again I went back to DFC customer service centre (ticket AA21), and explained to the lady (Payal) at counter 3 what i was told by customer care guy, but she said it is not possible at all. Today (21st Oct), finally the account was closed without the need to cancel the credit card as correctly guided
