I went in to receive money from abroad. This was my first visit to this branch(and probably the last one). I went at 1:45 PM and I was told that the staff are having lunch break and I should come back at 2:15(fair enough). I went at 2:15 PM and asked to wait till 2:30PM. I waited outside and went in and realized that there are already customers inside and waiting for staff . I joined one of the queue and waited to be served, However people started jumping in the queue from left and right and the cashier started serving them. After half an hour wait when it was my turn cashier preferred to serve two other customers who weren’t in the queue until I have to speak to myself to be served. After passing my reference for money collection to her she insisted that the reference is not in the right format . I explained her that this is how it should be and she referred me to her colleague , who eventually told her how to process this transaction . Meanwhile during this pandemic everyone should be careful to control the spread of the COVID 19, one of the male cashier was eating at the counter while serving customers . He was literally licking his fingers and the passing the cask to customers, it was absolutely disgusting. I hope and request HBL take action against the rules and regulation at this branch.
