My standards in Dubai are generally pretty low, but this bank really is the worst of the worst. I don’t think I’ve ever had people talk to me so rudely in my life. The staff could not be more disinterested. The only nice ones are the security guys.
I don't have a bird's eye view of the industry and there may in fact be a perfectly valid reason for this, but from my vantage point I cannot understand why a bank would only be open for 5 hours every day (and even less on the weekend). So basically if you have a regular day job, you can be certain you'll never, ever be able to go to your bank in person. I'm dying to know what these people do if they bank with NBD (or perhaps they simply don't). Like I say, though, hey, there may be a good reason for having an entire business that operates for 5 hours only each day. I doubt it, but maybe. One thing's for sure: the employees must love it. I'd be thrilled to work 5 hours a day and no more. What a dream!

Very bad banking experience, including overcharges
Current Branch Operations Officer Mr. Anthony Nimesh is very helpful in solving my problem with internet banking. Gone above and beyond the call of duty to help and make sure the problem was solved by the next day.
