I opened an account at Commerzbank in August 2025, and the service has been extremely poor. The staff have no idea what is happening with my account. They just look at their screens and repeat the same lines without offering any real solution or way to escalate the complaint. Staff are good at talking but have no idea about finding solutions. Despite multiple visits, I still have non-functioning cards and PhotoTANs. I have visited the branch more than 10 times in 30 days during peak working days, causing major losses of time and seriously affecting daily financial activities like paying rent, buying food, and managing other basic needs. As a newcomer in Germany, this has caused a lot of stress and difficulty. Commerzbank urgently needs to improve its customer service and complaint escalation process.

Unfortunately, our experience was not in line with the client-oriented service we expected. Despite having a scheduled appointment and arriving on time, my husband had to wait an additional 30 minutes. Additionally, a staff member implied that he was not in the waiting area at the appropriate time, which was not the case. I believe this experience reflects an area for improvement in how appointments are managed. When clients book a specific time, it is important to honor that commitment, as they may have other obligations. I would kindly suggest that the management consider ways to ensure that clients with appointments are seen promptly and that communication remains respectful. Until these improvements are made, I would advise others to minimize their visits to this branch if they require timely assistance.
