I wish I had read the comments before dedicating effort to it. Tried getting an appointment for 3 months (THREE MONTHS), through website, phone, mail, every time being reassured that they will get back to me but never did. Walked by the branch, the clerk of course told me to try and get an appointment through the website, when I explained them about the non-responsiveness, I was told - well then go to another bank, we prioritize our existing customers… So I did…
Lots of negative reviews here but I've been with BNP Louise branch for a few years and have had generally a good experience. There are regular appointments available online and their staff is pleasant to deal with. Have helped me with my cards and opening various accounts. They also send documents and forms in English which is a good touch. They're in the process of improving their office space so it should look a bit nicer soon. Their security guard is a bit rude but that's not unique.
Worst bank ever. Two months and 7 documents to transfer a business account to new president. Impossible to get a personal appointment. After 2 monts, turns out the card needs to get activated... at the bank office. Now I am standing at the hour of appointment - hallelujah - and turns out the office is under renovation. No phone number indicated, builders know nothing and the monolingual bot on their phone does not understand my question. Did I mention they come last on the FairFin index and finance bombing Palestine.
Avoid at all costs, these people are scammers and they have terrible customer service. They try to stick you an insurance that you did not request which is completely illegal (email image attached). The email does not say that the insurance is optional and that you can opt out, they just give you a phone number or tell you to go to the nearest post office hoping for no one to bother due to the small amount. I called them and they said they were not able to cancel the insurance and, to my bigger surprise, they didn't know why they couldn't do it. The call "only" lasted a mind-boggling 51 minutes because decided to hung up after being placed on hold forever.
Terrible experience with this bank. 1. I was asked to make an appointment to come and pick up my card. When I tried to do so, they said it wasn’t possible and I had just to come. Apparently, some other people in the main hall had meetings scheduled and didn’t have to wait. 2. I waited for my turn yet the system didn’t work and they couldn’t give me my card. Ok, I came next day, got the card and wanted to deposit some cash. The representative said that I had to wait two days. 3. Today (after a week) I went to deposit the cash. No success. However, that’s not the end of the story. 4. I decided that if I came, I could withdraw money from another card…which got stuck. I called a worker who said that they didn’t have the access to the machines of their own bank and I had to wait two days. He refused to call to the service to extract my card. I explained that my security settings are poor on that card and I have quite a significant amount. So, if someone came meanwhile and the machine starte
