Catastrophic!!!!! 1 hour 35 minute wait on hold when supposedly I'm first in line, what's going on?
I'm currently mobility-impaired and wanted to withdraw some money shortly before noon today. When I inserted my card, I saw that the screen displayed "out of service." To my surprise, the ATM swallowed the card. I then went inside the bank to ask for the card back. Since I'm not a customer of that bank, I was told I should request a new card from my own bank. Apparently, the repair crew was working on the counter, and they wouldn't open it despite my ringing the bell. I was told to wait until they finished. As I had another appointment, I left my phone number there, asking them to call me as soon as they arrived. Now, two hours later, I still haven't heard back. Unbelievable...
Not recommended. Today at 2:30 PM I had an appointment at the bank. I told the gentleman I'd like to invest some money and asked him what I'd like to invest in. He said to me, "Now, in these difficult times?" That's basically what I meant. I was thinking, "It's my money!" Later he told me, "Yes, we don't do that anymore because we don't have any safe deposit boxes," and said many banks don't offer that anymore because of money laundering issues, etc. I was like, "Dude, where's the professionalism in that? And what are you trying to tell me?" Absolutely not recommended. I'll be getting my new bank card soon and will definitely switch banks.
Absolutely terrible customer service. They made me wait 50 minutes without even listening to my request. The employees had no physical customers and saw me sitting there. I couldn't make an appointment in advance because the announcement was in French and I couldn't understand it (DG!!). So I cycled there from Lontzen without an appointment. They let me in and told me it would take about 10 minutes. I finally went home after 50 minutes without having anything done. It's outrageous to treat customers like that. Zero stars is best!! So, one star for the building.
Today I was at the bank with my friend. We came with a problem with a blocked card. The bank employee solved our problem. She was very kind and courteous during the visit, and she was very patient with us. We are very pleased; five stars are not enough. I wish everyone was as kind as her.
