I’m a client of Bankinter’s private banking in Madrid, but I recently had the misfortune of visiting this branch , simply to sign a document. Five minutes of my life I’ll never get back. The lady in charge managed to turn a simple administrative formality into a performance of disdain, as if witnessing the signature of a private client were beneath her divine station. It was almost impressive to watch such mediocrity dressed up as authority. Bankinter itself is, in general, a solid institution. But this particular office is a perfect case study in why retail banking in Spain is quietly dying — smothered by the smallness of people who confuse a desk and a badge with importance. I’ll make sure not to repeat the experience. Once was more than enough.

SCAMMERS!!!!!! They endorse life insurance policies to vulnerable people in collusion with other companies just as immoral as themselves. When you request the certificate, no one takes responsibility. The insurance policies these poor people have been religiously paying for years (as in the case of my deceased uncle) may not even exist.

I opened a bank account, which is good. But the customer service at this branch is terrible! They served me without enthusiasm and showed absolutely no appreciation for a new customer. I've returned, but to a different branch in Tetuán.
