If you need an account, mortgage, or insurance of any kind as a foreigner, DO NOT GO THROUGH THIS BANK. If you have questions about the product(s) you have bought, at least in my experience having both life insurance and home insurance, mortgage, and account, they will not respond TO ANY QUESTION unless you ask them for a formal complaint form. If they respond, it will take weeks, and in my experience they will first tell you it's not their job (whatever your question), or they will ignore you and not simply not take your calls or answer your emails. This has been my exact experience since I was given a new account manager about 4 years ago. (For context, I might ask 1 - 2 questions per year). When they have not answered my emails until I've threaten to fill an official complaint form, they have told me they have been under audit (err... for weeks? Every time I have had a question about my insurance or mortgage or money transfer whose funds have not arrived they've had an audit?). Wow.
Never use ATM at Bankinter. They machine are rigged. My card got stuck in the machine and later I found out that money has taken out of my card. I used bank ATM machine thinking that it will be safer.
Wait half an hour to be treated like shit
Excellent experience at the Bankinter branch. We went on a Friday afternoon with a technical issue related to activating the app, which we urgently needed. Although the problem wasn't directly the staff's fault, they assisted us with great professionalism and dedication, working to find solutions until they resolved it right there. The service was impeccable, and we especially appreciated the support we received as foreign (non-resident) customers. Competent, efficient, and truly customer-oriented service.
Disgraceful, appalling, this bank is a disgrace. They transferred my account from Evo Banco to Bankinter, and it's the worst bank ever. They're charging me for a credit card that isn't even mine... They have no customer service, it's pathetic, a disgrace. Get out of here.
