I had a very unpleasant experience at this Wells Fargo branch today. I scheduled an appointment for 12:00 PM. The banker Dan came out at 12:05 with an arrogant attitude and did not even acknowledge the delay or apologize for the wait. I showed him the promotion I wanted to open a checking account with. Instead of reviewing it professionally, Dan laughed and walked away. When he came back, he told me I could not open the account because I don’t have a green card or permanent residency. I explained that I am a resident alien for tax purposes, which is clearly allowed under the promotion terms. However, he completely ignored my explanation and responded that “someone like you came in earlier this week and I rejected them as well.” This behavior was unprofessional, dismissive, and a complete waste of my time. I spent almost an hour going there for nothing. After leaving, I called another Wells Fargo branch at 3600 S College Ave, Fort Collins, CO 80525, and they told me there is absolu
I normally frequent a Wells Fargo branch a little closer to my home, but due to circumstances chose to work with this branch for the last couple days. All of the tellers were personable, kind, and understanding before pointing me in the right direction to fix some things going on with my accounts. The personal banker, Shaun, was patient and extremely helpful. I will be choosing to come back to this branch again in the future.
Horrible management. I received a random call unexpected from someone I had no idea who they were telling me they were my new investment manager. Really? I didn’t know Wells Fargo decided that for me!!! And trying to get my money out of the bank was a challenge as I needed an appointment. Didn’t need an appointment when I put it in. Now they don’t even have competitive rates. Really below average service and rates for what is one of the largest banking institutions in our country. And as you can see by their response below, to fix this they want me to send an email with information. Their 1 rating google review is not silufficient for them to take corrective action. But they’ll ask their former and current customer to take additional steps rather than to address what a client has already provided them with??? Great customer service—-not! So no action will be taking. And you 2.4 rating will continue to decline! And someone in upper management will ask in several M
If you’re a Wells Fargo client or customer, take your business elsewhere to a different branch. This past week I made a significant withdrawal from my account & was treated unprofessionally by staff at the front counter. In fact, the cash withdrawal I made, I had to ask for an envelope and bands. None of the bills were banded & they were all disorganized, just like the service I received. I am actually highly considering taking my money out of Wells Fargo now and going to another institution I bank with. I hope management will take a look at their practices at this location & how they train their staff. It doesn’t matter how much someone withdraws or has in their account— in my opinion, if you want to retain clients and keep them as loyal customers, you will treat every single person who walks through your door as a loyal customer & do everything in your power to go above and beyond— this location does not believe in that. As a result, Wells Fargo as a bank may now lose my business.
I have conducted banking business with every Wells Fargo in Fort Collins, including this branch. I have always been treated with professionalism and respect. Whether it concerned my Certificate of Deposit, home mortgage, access to my safety deposit box or other general banking, I have always been completely satisfied.
