I must be the wrong kind of customer or human because I’m always treated so rudely when I go into this bank. I’m in the process of closing my account but I’m honestly afraid to go inside this location at this point. This bank has lost checks of mine, given me debit cards that don’t work, and the ATMs are always having problems. Everyone at this location (with the exception of Marla) seems to lack any empathy or professionalism. One time (and this is just one experience), the ATM was broken inside (no sign posted on it to let customers know). Ian (one of the more unpleasant bankers) watches me as I insert my card and then when my card gets eaten he says “it’s broken.” So maybe don’t watch as I try to withdraw money and let me know? Or maybe put a sign on the machine? He then makes me wait until he’s done with his business to retrieve my card and demands (yes, demands) to see my ID as if I’m lying about the situation. I went for opening bank account on March 5th, 2024, and had appointment at 3:00 PM. The premier banker (Miss. Ruan) said she was running late and showed up at 3:30 PM. Instead of addressing the needs of the customer, 30 minutes of time was taken just in marketing various offerings of the bank (investment and lending). Then the banker took additional 45 minutes before realizing that she's not able to process the request as she simply did not know what was needed to be done. After full 100 minutes I was not able to open the account and will have to return. What’s the use of having so many locations, if you cannot train your staff with simple tasks? The bank management should take it seriously to train their staff on how to service the customer needs effectively and efficiently. Also, instead of COPY+Past on your standard response, please invest time to learn what happened from your staff.

Today, I visited this branch. Everyone were so busy, Finally got to talk with someone. They had about 30 minutes before closing but they asked me to come with an appointment as its closing soon. The guy then actually told me to try opening it online first and if it doesn’t work come to the bank, the way he was saying is like rude and literally felt like bank staff is not interested in opening my account. I then drove to Chase bank just near by and they welcomed me the lady at chase was little busy so requested me to wait for 2 minutes and then in 10 minutes opened my account. Wondering why can’t wells fargo opened it in 30 minutes?

Wells Fargo Bank offers one of the best customer services I have seen in the US so far. I always compare WF branches to the San Francisco Market Street branch where I opened my bank account several years ago. At this branch, I feel the same enthusiasm for customers, and every experience reminds me of the exact same experience I had while opening my bank account in SF. Staff are nice and prompt to offer services in the best way possible.

Joshua was there to help me in opening a checking account. Despite technical difficulties he helped in opening a checking account and he did that with 100% commitment. Truly appreciate him..Only thing Wells Fargo can improve is on the minor technical glitches in online banking...
