Tried opening an account through the app. I got an email saying I need to visit a UB branch. After the hassle of visiting this branch, the teller told me to just try again on the app… They even said that I will not be able to open an account if I am unemployed (my first job is just about to start). For the 2nd time, I tried again on the app and it was still unsuccessful. For the 3rd time, I applied again on the app but I put unemployed this time. I was immediately successful after the 3rd time. TLDR; The bank teller gave me false information and opening an account took 2 weeks and 3 applications. The UB system and customer service are both bad in general.
The worst bank ever ,it takes 2 hours for interbranch incash transaction. One depositor waited more than 1Hour 50 minutes.He decided to withdraw and closed his account. I really suggest go to other branches other than this bank .Highly recommended banks like BPI and BDO in this area.
The teller is not welcoming and accomodating, very unproffesional answering questions as if the customer already knows everything about UB
The guard was very unhelpful. You have to stay outside and it was very hot. You can’t make ATM deposit
Worst branch of union bank. The queuing system is not used by the teller properly
