Came deposit my monthly pay check (which I have done for more than a year and they can see in their system), but because the amount is not exactly the same (I work in a doctor’s office), they “have” to put a 5-day hold on it. I asked if the teller can speak to the manager, as I explained that this is a recurrent deposit, I have been doing this for a year and my home mortgage is with TD. They said we can “go to another branch.” Absolutely disappointing. The one star is for the nice view of the city while I waited in line for 20 min.

A very inefficient bank. There are 10 people inline and two customer service representatives. Hire more customer service reps! We are waiting for 40 mins!! Very weird management. I also, did not appreciate the staff member looking into my bank account and asking me what am I doing with my money. This is extremely NOSEY and intrusive. The labour market is doing terrible already and we're trying to get by. It is ridiculous you are trying to sell me your services on GIC when we are struggling and starving in Vancouver. STOP training your staff to look into our bank accounts and ask us what we are doing with our money. It is embarrassing and the guy beside can listen to the conversation. It is unacceptable behaviour. Why do you think majority of Canadians are so poor?

Over the past year or so I have been slowly moving all of my accounts and investments from TD elsewhere due to numerous customer service issues. I rarely use my TD bank card anymore and had forgotten the PIN. I went into this branch for assistance in resetting the PIN. Staff refused to help because I did not have two pieces of government-issued photo ID with me. That's right, they demanded TWO pieces of photo ID. I had my Driver's License, which is clearly me, credit cards, debit cards, etc, all with my name on it, matching my Driver's License, but that was not good enough here, I was told. So I left, went to another branch on Davie St, where they had no problem helping me reset my PIN using the same identification I had at this branch. Weird, no? Thanks for the reminder why I'm leaving TD bank after decades of being a customer.

Actually, I came in to close my account at this bank. But this employee made my day. And even now, whenever I remember that awkward situation, it makes me laugh — whether I’m at home or out on the street. Being able to laugh at yourself is worth a lot. Self-irony is everything. Thanks, man! And thanks to you, your bank kept a client. Your impeccable appearance, your smile and sense of humor, and your ability to solve problems on the fly — I noticed all of it. Much appreciated! But this line at 9:00 a.m., when the bank just opened, is unbearable! There are two people at the counter and a line of 15 people. Bank management, do something about this. Please

I visited the branch to close my account due to personal reasons, and although the process required extra verification and was more complicated than expected, Chloe Park was incredibly kind, patient, and thorough. She explained everything clearly, handled each step with great care, and made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. I was genuinely impressed by her professionalism and dedication. Excellent customer service — thank you, Chloe, for going above and beyond. 👍
