TD Canada Trust Branch and ATM 41 Downie Street Stratford

Staff were very friendly and helpful. I was able to set up my EasyWeb account within 5 minutes, they were that helpful!

The tellers are nice. The woman who I believe is the manager is incredibly rude and condescending. Blamed me for a tellers communication error and offered me nothing to resolve the issue. I am now out almost 100$ because of the error and her lack of acknowledgement that the error came from them. After being a customer for my whole life. Garbage customer service. They just want your money. Very glad I left TD

They misplaced their key to my safety deposit box. I asked the manager to get involved and she called for a locksmith but didn't mention that the error was on their side. Said she would call me the same day and did not. I called again the same day to explain the urgency of which I needed my things. And again the next day. An employee called me back to say the key was found because another employee took the keys home by accident. I came back to access my box. They applied some credit to my rental fee. But at no point did any one from the branch apologize. I have taken my things to a different bank to rent a box. I will be going back to close all my accounts at TD when I have time. I don't want to deal with that manager again.

Long wait times, tellers not sure how to handle customers banking issues. Was brushed off when needed to fix the number associated with online banking was told to call instead. Also asked for a 30 day account activity balance and was given the wrong one only to have to go to the back of the line after deciding the wait again was too long we then went to the other branch where they helped previously to fix the online banking no problem. If you have to deal with TD I would suggest using the Ontario street branch as they are much more courteous.

Its a bank. Its like any other. Tonight was a great example why why I donr care much for banks, and especially feel terrible for any teller that works in any bank. I just paid 10$ for a money order, that I wouldn't otherwise need if they had just removed a stop payment order. Human error I get it. Im not perfect but waving the $10 would've be a nice gesture. But.... in reality. They NEED that $10 more than I do. They can't help it. All banks share the same irredeemable trait we call greed. It is a human condition.
