The Co-operative Bank - Preston 147 Church Street Preston

Tried to make an appointment to open a new account. Was told nearest branch was Liverpool. Going elsewhere. Hopeless customer service.

I always find the staff really helpful whenever I call. Co Op bank has excellent customer service compared to others I have used in the past. It's also great speaking to staff based in the UK when I call. Many companies in the UK use contact centres abroad and I struggle to understand their accent, I find this frustrating. Great to see Co Op providing jobs in the UK! I would recommend Co Op bank to friends and family.

I created an account put in a few thousand and then received a letter saying i was overdrawn! They said it was an error and my money was there, which is fine but now i have an unrequested overdraft on my credit record. They never explained how this mistake happened and tried to cover it up! I complained to a manager but they ignored my letter and never wrote back! Needless to say i left!

Went into the preston branch just now and they refused to change £10 into change because I didn't have an account with them. Certainly won't open an an account with them in the future. Dreadful customer service. All o wanted was a bit of change. Your a bank for goodness sake

Diabolical customer service. Very restricted and old fashioned opening hours. Really needs to respect customers and get itself into the 20th century, the 21st century may take considerably longer.
