My Sparkassen Debit Card has been stolen on holiday and I got great support from the Service Centre. Card blocked, new card applied, online banking re-actived,... i don´t need my bank often, but when i need them i would wish such kind of support. Thanks

While many Sparkasse in various cities tend to be marginally helpful and it seems that various mistakes always end up happening, I found this location to be very friendly and helpful... surprisingly they were even responsive via email (which was not the case with other banks in Germany, nor many other institutions in Germany for that matter). I was also happy that they were willing to fix their mistakes quickly even after I had moved away and closed my account. I was also very pleased that they were very willing to find someone that spoke English, rather than let me stumble around with my limited German skills.
