I have to leave Helsinki for Tikkurila and note that the branch is open for two hours on Mondays and Thursdays. Problems arose again when I couldn't access My Account to handle things, as the account was locked from the branch as a result of some reform. I was really close to switching banks. Two years ago I had to run to the police station in Tikkurila to get a temporary ID card, because I couldn't handle things otherwise. I'm not surprised at all why there's a guard at the branch. The tension gets worse from even the slightest swiping.

I have been a customer of Säästöpankki for 12 years and my most recent experience has been extremely disappointing. My account has been closed for over two weeks without any proper justification. The bank closed my account without prior notice and I have submitted all the necessary attachments immediately but there has been no progress in the matter. Customer service has been useless. My call was disconnected mid-way and therefore I could not get any help. My appointment was cancelled for no reason and the instructions on how to close the account and transfer the funds were very unclear. It is shocking that in such a long-running matter customers are treated so poorly. I cannot recommend Säästöpankki to anyone as the customer service does not seem to be interested in the needs or rights of their customers. I recommend other customers to think carefully before using this bank. Avoid this bank at all costs. Zero stars if possible.

We had to sit in the apartment sales for two hours because the bank employee hadn't noticed an error in the information we received a week ago, supposedly because they were busy. There was no customer toilet on the premises.
