NDB Bank - Gampola 11b & 11c Kandy Road Gampola

I have had a very disappointing experience with NDB Bank in Gampola. The customer service is extremely poor, and I do not recommend this bank for business accounts (current accounts). Compared to other banks in the area, NDB Bank has been the worst in terms of service and cooperation. The management, especially the branch manager, seems incapable of handling operations efficiently. Since the bank's performance heavily relies on its management, it fails to deliver satisfactory service. It’s unfortunate that some customers may not be aware of Google reviews to share their experiences. My advice is to carefully evaluate the service quality before choosing a bank. Speak to people who have previously or currently dealt with NDB Bank Gampola to understand their experiences. Based on my personal experience, I would never recommend this bank.

I express my dissatisfaction with the service I received today at Gampola branch while attempting to open a Foreign Currency (FC) account for my wife. We provided all the necessary documents as requested and were instructed to send them via email. After waiting for two hours, we were informed that some documents had not been received. Despite forwarding the same documents multiple times, the staff refused to verify their email system again. In particular, the service from Assistant Manager and Ms. Supuni was extremely unprofessional. They displayed a lack of customer support, knowledge about banking procedures, and an unwillingness to assist us properly. At 3:45 PM, I was asked to print two documents and return before 4:00 PM, which was impossible given the distance to the nearest printing facility.
