I recently visited ING Bank to open a regular account, and my experience was very disappointing. On my first visit, they told me I needed to provide a rental agreement, but they didn’t specify any requirements about its length. I returned with the agreement, only to be told it must cover at least three months. This requirement was never mentioned before, and it feels unnecessarily complicated compared to other banks. It seems like they require a mountain of paperwork, including documents that don’t logically affect opening a basic account. In contrast, other banks are more flexible and straightforward, sometimes even allowing you to submit proof electronically. Overall, the process felt inconsistent and frustrating

I went to open a bank account at an ING branch today. The lady at the reception asked me where I was from. As soon as I told her my origin (non-European), she suddenly said there was no time today and asked me to come back another day even though the branch still had two and a half hours before closing. This is pure discrimination. It seems that at ING, opening a bank account depends on your nationality and appearance, not on fair treatment. Really shameful and disappointing.

I had a very bad experience today with the people that are working there i went to deposit money at the atm and the atm went faulty and the deposit didnt go through I asked for assistance from one of the workers gave a very bad attitude At this bank how do even employ people with such sick attitudes i mean why are they leaving wet towels after bathing at home for claiming to come to work if they cant even do that job properly .This is just sick hayiii man I still had to leave without the assistance

I came to this branch to take care of a sensitive matter after my parent passed away. Ms. Viktoriia was very polite and showed a lot of compassion and helped me understand the whole process and guided me through the next steps. If you are reading this thank you! Thanks to people like Ms. Viktoriia I decided to stay with ING as my previous experience with other branch and even with concierge here was total mess as no one even tried to help or answer any questions - they were rude and looked like their work is punishment. This is absolutely unacceptable especially in cases when someone close passed away.

Very professional quick service with such a good staff. Kornel did an excellent job opening me a bank account literally in less than 30 min. Highly recommend
