Terrible customer service at National Bank in St. Albert. I've been a customer since 2017 (back when it was Canadian Western Bank) and have had nearly $1M across personal and business accounts. I called to ask about transferring money from my National Bank account to another account. After going through full verification and wasting time on the phone, I was put on hold and then told I had to come into the branch in person. So I drove all the way there, only to be told that it couldn't be done at the branch—I had to do it from home, and that my banker would email me detailed instructions. A full week has passed and I still haven't received any email. Complete waste of my time and zero follow-through. Very disappointed after years of loyalty.

What a joke this bank is I remember when money is money walked in here try to get changed from a $100 bill but I was refused because I’m not a client. I guess they only wanna serve you if they’re making money off of you. Update to your response So right after I went next-door to ATB and they were happy to Break my $100 I don't bank with ATB and then I went to my own bank and ask that if someone comes in that doesn't bank with CIBC can they break a $100 bill? They told me yes. So what you're saying is if you're not making any money off of me then you don't want to service me Love how you run business.
