I have had a great experience here. They cleared a bank draft in seconds to my account (takes coast capital a week) and they stayed late to help me. Top notch customer service 👌 👏. Will be moving all my personal banking needs to them from coast capital. They also have more then one teller working at a time which is nice.

The staff make me feel like a valued customer, and they also seem to keep staff for a long period of time. It is not a revolving door of different staff, and you can build relationships.

I've never had a worst customer service experience than dealing with a "mortgage specialist" at this location. Figures seem to be made up on the spot and talk is very cheap here. Get everything in writing if you want to risk doing business here. I was encouraged to seek another bank when voicing concerns.

UPDATE: National bank recently took over Canadian Western Bank. Not impressed with their service. I am dealing with them through the company I work with. Getting no response to emails to a manager regarding a loan we have been working on since beginning of October. Company I work for moved their banking and mortgage to Canadian Western a few months ago. Amazing people to work with. Have been incredibly helpful from the start. So nice to be able to have someone you can contact directly if you have any issues or questions.

I went to deposit $5k cash today into my bank account. The young man only deposited $28 into my account and only updated my account with the full $5k when I checked the receipt he gave me and demanded he deposit my full money into my account. I cannot believe how brazen the staff here is. If I had not noticed he has only deposited $28 out of $5k into my account and had walked out - nobody would have believed me as a senior if I went back later or noticed the discrepancy later!! Do not trust this branch. Keep note of your balances!! Pathetic service to the elderly!!
