Very disappointing experience with BNP Paribas. I had a scheduled appointment at the Leuven branch where I provided all the required documents, and they were scanned by the staff. At that time, I was clearly told that everything was in order and that I did not need to worry. Despite this, my accounts were later blocked without any prior warning. Suddenly not being able to pay for anything is extremely inconvenient and stressful. Situations like this should at least come with clear communication and advance notice. It is also hard to understand why resolving such an issue takes so long, especially when all documents had already been provided months earlier. Overall, the process has been frustrating and poorly handled.

Exactly like the rest, as soon as there's a problem, don't expect any help. I've been trying for over a month to close down my account and avoid more monthly costs, and guess what, nothing's being done AND I get charged with another monthly cost. Does anyone respond to your messages? Also, no. Edit: - call easy banking: already done - sent 3 emails in response: also - complaint filed: yes What more can I do?

This is the worst institution I’ve ever seen. They keep operating even though there is ongoing construction inside. You ring the bell and wait several minutes at the door before anyone comes to assist you. It’s almost impossible to get an appointment on a near date. The process is extremely slow and some of the staff members have a very cold attitude. Honestly, I have never seen a worse bank. I can’t wait to change my bank at the first opportunity. When you call, there is no English option. The same problem occurs online as well, while trying to book an appointment, they expect you to know Dutch or French. It’s unbelievable that such a big bank in a country like Belgium doesn’t offer an English option.

If you don't have problems, then it is ok. However, if you get issues with you cards, then you'll be screwed. Their assistance line and banking app are bugged. I've ordered a credit card via the banking app, but it reported issues in the manufacturing and I've never received any further message. Then, after complaining via the app, 3 months later, I got an email providing a phone number to solve the issue. I called it, ordered a new CREDIT card, since I repeatedly mentioned online payment issues. However, I got a DEBIT card ordered, as 3 messages via SMS and via the banking app displayed to me. This bank is NOT recommended. All their phone robots DO NOT provide any option to change the language (at least the official languages of the country should be supported?!). Look for another bank, there are plenty in Belgium.

If i could give zero stars i would absolutely go for it. No online fo they have the worst customer relations at the branch, i have the strong conviction that its a company wide mandate. The reviews here paint a perfect picture. You get met by an arrogant lady the moment you push the bell, who is not ready for any form of communication except you have an appointment. Its 5-years since covid and you can't walk into the branch for simple enquiries or transactions. I was forced to transfer my personal accounts after years of frustration and terrible service. Its the worst bank for foreigners (at least in leuven). You cannot get any financing, nobody is willing to lift a finger on your behalf or go the extra mile. And the worst part, when you catch them in a lie or point out where they failed in their responsibilities, they quickly blame their colleagues. I would totally not recommend BNP to anyone. At least till they prove that they have entered 2025 and looking to grow past their old a
