A serious lack of professionalism!!! Wanting to buy a house, I had an initial appointment with the bank to determine the maximum amount I could borrow. I then spent three weeks visiting properties and meeting with developers in Metz (I live in Luxembourg, 60 km from Metz). After all these appointments, during which I finally found and signed a reservation agreement, I made another appointment with the same bank. They informed me that there had been a calculation error on the initial simulation by my advisor and that the amount they had authorized was incorrect because it exceeded the 38% debt-to-income ratio, and that the loan would most likely be denied. So I spent three weeks searching for nothing, wasting gas, and making the notary and developer work harder. Not to mention the fact that I've lost all credibility with the people who asked me from the start if I'd properly contacted the bank beforehand. SHAMEFUL OF A BANK!

Ça fait plus de deux semaines que j’attends une réponse sur l’application… et visiblement, eux attendent encore plus longtemps pour répondre, puisqu’ils m’ignorent complètement. Par téléphone, c’est encore mieux : on a l’impression de tenter de joindre une station spatiale en panne de signal. On parle d’une banque, en 2025-2026, mais on a l’impression d’un service client bloqué en mode pause depuis 2003. Aucune réactivité, aucune communication, et surtout aucune notion de satisfaction client. Franchement, j’aurais eu plus de chances de recevoir une réponse en envoyant un pigeon voyageur. Bref : si vous aimez les silences radio et les délais mystères, c’est l’endroit parfait. Pour le reste… on repassera.

As a customer for 25 years, I've seen the situation deteriorate every year. It's a constant turnover of advisors, a new one almost every six months. I agree with the comment below about the response times via the app and the difficulty of reaching them by phone. Furthermore, over the last two years, problems have piled up every time I need to do anything; nothing ever goes right, I always have to call, and the issues are slow to be resolved. In short, I'm considering switching banks.
