I had to make a payment at the bank, but I had no idea about the process involved. A very nice person greeted me immediately and asked how they could help. She was fluent in both English and Spanish. And she directed me to a teller who handled everything with dispatch. I was in and out in five minutes. Bravo!
This bank provides good atm. Occasionally in the morning the machines will be out of money. May have to try all 3. As always decline the conversion. You’ll still get your money for about $65 pesos plus what ever the current conversion is. See . From web: Yes, you should always decline the conversion option at an ATM in Mexico. This is because the ATM's offered exchange rate is usually a "scam" called Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC), which includes a hidden markup and results in you paying more for your withdrawal. By declining, you allow your home bank to handle the conversion, which typically uses a much more favorable exchange rate and avoids extra fees.
The rate they charge for a withdrawal is fine, 65 peso. But the exchange rate they charge on top of this is close to 10%, which is outrageous. And they did not ask me if I wanted the Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC). They did it automatically.
Just to balance out the reviews here, I used the ATMs at this location in February 2024 to convert CND to pesos and I had no issues. It worked just fine. The menus were straightforward and could be switched to English. We paid a 58 peso service fee. Maybe some people have had major issues but for me it was hassle free!
First time reviewing an ATM but like others I want to offset the score a bit here. We were looking for somewhere to withdraw pesos and almost didn't dare due to the bad reviews everywhere. Ended up going here twice with zero problems. The transaction fee is only 58 pesos which is less than my bank charges me and obviously you just have to decline the proposed conversation rate, as all banks (at least to my knowledge) will give you a better one than the ATM itself.
