They acquired EVO Bank and my account was migrated. Shortly after, they blocked it with no explanation. It took a full month just to find out why. Then another month before I could operate the account at all, and even then, only to transfer my funds out and close it. At one point I was told the only solution was to open a new account with them. I refused, pushed further, and eventually managed to transfer my funds and cancel the account myself. Now I need my bank statements and cannot get them. Here is the exact loop I have been through: - Called the main number. Told to send an email. - Sent the email. Told to call a different number. - Called that number. Redirected to a third number. - Called the third number. Told to send an email. - Sent the email. Told to call them. No one owns the issue. No one follows through. Every contact point passes you to the next one. This is not a one-off bad experience. This is how the system is built. If you are considering this bank, factor in wh

We're with EVO Banco, which has been absorbed by Bankinter, and we've regressed at least 20 years in online banking. Again, we're stuck with coordinate cards, the app won't let us pay off our loan, and it took them a week to finally do it after several calls. We were even scammed by carding... They could learn from EVO's online banking, which had received some awards. I suppose they're trying to do things right, but it's time to modernize and get up to date.

We were EVO customers and very happy. I'd say that, like most EVO customers, switching to Bankinter has been detrimental and disastrous. Terrible customer service. Don't hesitate to compare other banks and switch. I recommend doing the math, and even though you'll have to take on some extra costs, in the long run it's better to leave that bank, especially if you have a mortgage. Goodbye Bankinter.

🏦 What a disappointment with Bankinter. If you have a digital account and a problem arises, forget about getting help at their branches. Before opening the account, I stopped by their branches in Santa Cruz de Tenerife to ask because, of course, putting your money into a digital account without really knowing what it works for is a bit scary, especially considering how unreliable banks are. The response was: "That's not our business." End. No explanation, no guidance, no intention to help. They washed their hands of it. I find it incredible that a bank like this doesn't have a clear operating model for assisting you in person when something happens. In-person support should support digital support, not leave you stranded like a cigarette butt. It's your money, not Monopoly's, but it seems they don't care and it's not part of their business strategy. 🏦 👎🏻
