BMO Bank of Montreal 9920 Franklin Avenue Fort McMurray

BMO closed my LOC without telling me because it had no balance. Then when I needed it, it was not available. Isn’t that the point of a LOC? Not to have it available when needed. So then I had to go through the process and take the credit hit to open a new one. Also they never answer their phones. Been trying to make an appointment but can’t. What a joke of a bank.

Absolutely unbelievable and unacceptable. I went into this branch for one simple task: to pay off my line of credit. That’s it. Instead, without asking, without explaining, and without my authorization, the employees decided on their own to close my line of credit. Who gave them that right? This reckless and incompetent decision completely ruined my Christmas plans and caused unnecessary financial stress that could have easily been avoided if anyone here knew how to do their job properly. Closing a credit facility without explicit customer consent is not just unprofessional — it’s a serious breach of trust and basic banking standards. The staff at this branch clearly lack the training, judgment, and accountability required to handle people’s money. If you enjoy surprises to your finances and having major decisions made behind your back, this is the place for you. Otherwise, stay far away. I have been with BMO for over 6 years and for the first time I’m trying to get a loan for a vehicle. I Gave the lender the extra required information needed as I’m currently part time. Next day I contact her to see if I’ve been accepted and low and behold she forgot to print a copy of my ID. So once again I go into the branch to give her extra information. 4 days after the fact, still no update. I tried contacting her through phone call and emails and no response. Hugely disappointed and will be lending from elsewhere.

I visited bank branch today they gave me warm wellcome and service delivery was satisfactory. They show me professionalist and respect answered my questions swiftly .
