BMO Bank of Montreal #618 19489 Seton Crescent Southeast

I've had an absolutely exceptional customer service experience with this branch. Neil and Arjun handled my bank operations with professionalism, expertise, and real assistance. They are always go above and beyond to provide support. Neil, in particular, made my banking needs easier by providing straightforward answers to all of my questions.

In August 2025, I opened a Newcomers account online with BMO, which included a cash bonus promotion upon meeting certain requirements. Subsequently, the bank itself instructed me to attend a branch to validate and complete the process, which I did at the Seton branch. I completed all the promotional requirements within the established timeframe. However, the bonus was never credited. In January 2026, I returned to the Seton branch to request clarification and was informed that the case would be escalated. When I returned on February 3, 2026, I was told that I am not eligible because an additional online account appears on my profile. This explanation is unacceptable. I only initiated one single account application, and the branch visit was part of the same onboarding process requested by BMO. At no point was it my intention to open multiple accounts. The employees at this branch are quite frankly, the definition of incompetence. Our family has not had a single business dealing at this location that has not been messed up by their employees. From them losing and forgetting paperwork, to misallocating funds, haphazardly freezing accounts, we are left with an incredibly sour taste in our mouths and will be pulling every account and investment with BMO to another bank altogether due to this branch’s inability to do anything properly. They have also refused on multiple occasions to resolve our issues same day, because they “don’t have an appointment” to fix a problem that THEY created.

I’ve been banking at this Bank of Montreal branch in Seton since 2016, and it’s always my go-to. I have multiple products here, and the service has always been great. Neil is fantastic,professional, friendly, and treats you perfectly every time. There can be a bit of a wait now and then, maybe because they’re short-staffed, but the team still delivers excellent customer service. Not sure why there are so many negative reviews,my experience has been nothing but positive!

ATM didn't have money in them!!! Had to wait in line, and if course they have no staff to accommodate customers. What should have taken 1 min to withdraw money, 15-20 mins later!! The point of an ATM is to withdraw money!!! Do better BMO!!
