BMO Bank of Montreal 2219 Oak Bay Avenue Victoria

So when looking on line it says you are open until 5 p.m. December 26th. Then it says holiday hours may differ. Please change it from open to closed if closed or instead of hours may differ just say closed. Super inconvenient yo rake time out of a work day to drive there and find it. closed.

There is a lineup every single time I go, am there almost every day andonly 1 person working. It is a very slow branch, with casual leisure talk while everyone is standing and waiting.

Went to this location for a credit application. The banker entered my income information wrong even after I corrected him. The card being applied for had a higher income requirement but he entered a figure many magnitudes less than it. Then when the application came back declined due to insufficient income, he performed a second credit check without my authorization. So I got dinged twice. Will never return to BMO again.

I made an appointment with this bank's representative to discuss my business accounts. Upon arrival on time, the branch manager asked me to wait, closed the door to talk to the representative and occupied my reserved time, simply showing no respect to my appointment and my time spent on waiting. I am going to close my accounts and move to somewhere else.

I went in today, Friday July 12th, at 11:40 to get loonies. The woman at the last computer to the left told me they didn't have any to spare, but that the CIBC across the road would be able to exchange cash for coins. When I followed her advice, the teller at CIBC told me they don't offer that to those without a CIBC account, and that BMO tellers should not be making such claims if they aren't CIBC employees. While I understand the BMO teller's attempt to help, I'm left more frustrated at having been given wrong information and for wasting my time.
