95% of the reviews here have 1 star or less, that should tell you the dissapointment of the customers & everything about that branch! I've been dealing with BMO for roughly 25 years, been there this morning for a vehicle loan. This female manager came & stand right beside the teller & told me that I would have to wait may be a week to get an appointment to see someone then told me right there that I would have to pay 10 to 15% interest without even looking at my account at all when I can get a loan with UNI for 6.99%. She was quite rude actually, ( I should get her name ). When I had to declared bankruptcy in 2003, they even refused to lend me $500 to rebuild my credit! In 2016 I got a mortgage with UNI instead of them. But when I got over $100,000+ in the bank I received emails constantly from them, they wanted me to invest $ with them, yeah probably @ 1% & they make minimum 15% with your money! Most time you go to that branch service is really poor, 1 teller 8-10 people in line & nob

I closed my bank account with bmo last month. I sent myself an etransfer to my new account and classic I forgot the password so it got sent back in limbo because my account with bmo was now closed. I went into the Champlain branch to ask what I do next and was told they have to investigate it which takes up to ten business days. I told them I was cool with that, but could I get a case # or anything incase I needed to call and escalate it. That must have been a trigger because another woman came up to me and the teller and told me that no, they can't give me a case # or anything because the phone side doesn't work with the in person bank side and that I would need to wait the time frame. I told them that was cool and I was good, which made her explain again that there wasn't a case number, I again said yeah no worries I'm good and I'll wait for the call. She then said to me that they would call me back in a day or two which I replied you mean ten business days which got me a sarcasti

I have been to this Champlain branch last Saturday and today. Both times only one teller was working, with many people waiting, and leaving unattended. Not sure if this is the branch nickle and dime policy or just a staff shortage. There was another staff visible at the front today at the left desk, but she seemed content on the phone even though the lineup exceeded 7 persons.

Disgusted with this branch. Went in due to a check from my father being held, was deposited via BMO app. Biggest mistake of my life. The manager working the teller desk gave me a number to call. Could not tell me any information or attempt to resolve the funds being on hold. I call the number and it's for fraud management. We are both BMO account holders, and the check is flagged for fraud? Appalling customer service. Had the funds been moved via etransfer there would be no hold. Furthermore, had I deposited the check in person, no fraud team would have flagged this. They've frozen my banking account over nothing. Fraud team does not even answer the phone, just says to leave a voicemail with them and they'll call me back? I have mortgage payments and bills tied to this account. Cannot even begin to describe the disgust and rage I have towards BMO right now.
