A bank driven by greed, not customers. I pay over $4,000 a month in interest on my ANZ mortgage, and on top of that, they have the audacity to charge me a $10 monthly “account fee” — not for services, not for advice, not for branch usage — simply for the privilege of holding the account. When I raised this with ANZ, the response was: “We can’t change our terms and conditions.” That’s not true — you choose not to change them. Because profit for shareholders is more important than fairness for customers. This isn’t banking, it’s exploitation. ANZ shows no care for its clients, no interest in easing the burden, just a relentless pursuit of profit. In a time when Australians are struggling under the weight of mortgages, this bank still squeezes every last dollar it can. A disgusting institution, and a stark reminder that the big banks will never put people before profit.

Please don't bank with this company. They are late when it comes to authorisation, have outsourced much of their customer service outside of the country and have archaic practices around anti-fraud that will leave you angry, and annoyed at best and stranded and vulnerable at worst. Get your money out of these incumbent banks, they are awful, ANZ you are by far the worst banking experience I have come across. Alternatives? UP Bank WISE + Any other non big 4 The sooner you move the happier you will be.

I am currently on hold after speaking to a representative in Manila who has not escalated my call requested 7 times and stated I would not hang up and I would wait until a supervisor was available her response was “she didn’t care as she could just continue to sip and drink her coffee” I originally called on the 16/7 and was promised a call back by the 17/7 (within 24 hours ) this still has not occurred and the date now is the 20/7. To all ANZ note and a serious warning an overseas representative from a 3rd party and country have full access to your accounts and have the ability to transfer monies in and out of your account with or without your consent which took place at 623pm 16/7 With the current world wide data issues and yesterday’s concerns with data being possibly compromised due to a glitch within Microsoft and its security services and systems again a 3rd party. I can also share Microsoft is one of the amounts that I require fixed with my ANZ account as they are allowing funds

Trying to get a resolution to a fraud transaction for the past 8 days. I have filed a dispute using their online banking site - NO RESPONSE till date. Visited their branch. Branch says that it must be handled by contacting their online banking team via SMS or phone. SMS service - each time I send a message, it takes them hours to respond with the exact same question - don't know what the case is and explain it again. By the time I have explained, the case is closed Calling their phone number - it just keeps on ringing the music. Endless music saying that they are experiencing high calls. For god's sake, I cannot lodge a fraud case/get a response from ANZ for 8 days. And this bank says it is taking fraud seriously????
