Absolutely incredible service. I’ve been with this company since 1977 and they have never disappointed me. The service is always professional and friendly.

I had a wonderful and positive experience at Alterna Savings today. First Frank Tefft recognized and greeted me even though it was our first meeting. Then the service I received from Natalie Desjardins is one that I must sing and dance about. Yes, a bank!!!

Absolutely wonderful service from the staff at this branch. Cannot recommend Latifa enough for your financial needs. She is warm and personable, and willing to go above and beyond to help. We are happy with our decision to shift our banking to this branch!

The service I receive at the Alterna Bank On Merivale Rd. is excellent, knowledgeable, efficient and very meticulous with detail. I do have my favourite Teller.

If your parents are aging and you are left in their Will, get out of here fast!!! Every other BANK paid out within 2 weeks. This Credit Union keeps their money!!! Horrible customer service. Lawyers are now involved. They are trying to tell me I'm not listed in his Will! I have the original copy of the Will that was submitted to them. All 3 of us siblings are listed as equal beneficiaries. Just horrible what they are doing! Get out asap!!!

Be careful with the tellers here especially if you’re a senior. They opened up a credit account (overdraft) without my father’s knowledge. Then again today when I went with him and the teller “Florence” tried to persuade my 92 year old father into a term deposit that he didn’t want. She was incredibly rude to me and treated me like an obstacle she needed to get around. They must have some sort of quota or incentive to get people to invest in certain products. Whatever you do be careful if you’re a senior.

My mom paid for a bank draft. Bank drafts are certified funds yet I was told it was being held for 4 days. What's the point of certifying funds if you decide that it's not worth anything.

They are one of the worst to deal with, Troyes to just pay the interest on the mortgage until the divorce was final, like other financial institutions do. They refused, twice. It had put me into financial stituation where I should file for bankruptcy. I will get them paid off but will never ever deal with them again. They put me in a situation where I will be living in my car as of the end of February 2026! Was members savings credit for over 30 years, they got bought out by Alterna and it has been nothing but a sue after I issue for 4 years now.
