This bank is the absolute worst. You can call anytime, but you always end up waiting half an hour only to be told by an incompetent employee that she can't help you. You can't even get a direct line to the branch. I emailed the Ulm branch on Thursday saying I urgently needed a callback, and of course, no one called. From 9 am to 12 pm, they don't take customer concerns seriously and you won't get a call back. I wouldn't recommend this bank to anyone. I'm closing my account and switching to Sparkasse Neu-Ulm, where you actually get service. And here, every service costs extra. Never, ever, never again...
I am very satisfied with HypoVereinsbank Private Banking Ulm. The service and the associated customer focus are excellent. I can contact my advisor at any time and receive a response to my concerns within a few hours. Furthermore, the conversations are very informative, understandable, and customer-focused. The staff and my bank advisor are very friendly. I feel at home at HypoVereinsbank in Ulm and can only recommend it.

Presumably friendly staff, but very, very difficult to reach. For several days, I haven't been able to reach a customer service representative by calling the branch number or the HVB hotline. At some point, I started timing the wait. The wait time now totals over 80 minutes. There's probably no available employee. Fun fact: they announce that at the end of the call, there will be two questions to rate the hotline. I've never gotten that far.
Is HypoVereinsbank even interested in new customers? I had to ask about opening an account, but my call was put on hold for 25 minutes! Sorry, but we're in the 21st century! Is HypoVereinsbank up-to-date? Unfortunately not! A bank can't operate like this.
