I am convinced that the 2.3 stars are absolutely justified. I have never experienced such a shocking mix of arrogance, rudeness, and incompetence at any bank as I did at Sparkasse Lemgo. Their treatment of customers is disrespectful and condescending. Professional competence seems to be a foreign concept there. I would love to publicly name the employees involved, that's how disappointing this experience was. Anyone who values ​​professionalism, service, and modern thinking should urgently choose a different bank. It's as if their training stopped sometime in the 1970s, and neither their knowledge nor their attitude has evolved since.

I was blackmailed and forced at gunpoint to make a transfer. I also reported the incident. When I contacted the savings bank and asked for a refund or cancellation of the order, my request was not granted, even though I had a police case number. They treated it as a crime against me. I find this behavior toward me as a customer very questionable, especially after more than 35 years of loyalty.

I wanted to print bank statements, but apparently ONE STATEMENT costs €7.50?! How is that even possible? Anyone with any sense should switch to a different bank. I definitely will!

The two "ladies" I spoke to on the phone today are absolutely terrible advisors and shouldn't be working on the phone. One of them wouldn't let me finish speaking and would rather tell lies than simply say, "I'll look into it and get back to you." That's how I learned it during my training. The next woman accused me of being nosy and hung up. It's a shame that no one is able to provide any answers when my money has disappeared. The reviews are definitely accurate!! It's a shame that the bank employs such staff. Perhaps some customer service training would be very helpful. 😉
